Production and international projects
Because each project is a unique prototype, it calls for an approach of its own, tailored to its identity and creative DNA.
For the past 20 years, I have devoted my energy to building collaborative workflows that connect more than 60 different disciplines.
Up to 500 people managed at once, more than 40 original and service productions, as well as international co-productions. Now independent, I put all of this to work for projects, producers, directors and teams.
A bridge to the studios. If you are preparing projects, I am your relay on the ground: understanding your intentions and making sure they are passed on, understood and willingly embraced. Working through the how and the open questions with the studios before kick-off, so that we are all aligned in a respectful and healthy environment, and our profession remains our passion.
The difficulties of an outsourced production rarely stem from the studio's artistic choices. They arise because expectations were not translated early enough into production realities. That translation, in all its finesse and decisive nuances, is my job.
Production and manufacturing strategy. Budgets and schedules based on a script, an art bible or a story bible. Production framing: making the project achievable within its economics, without betraying the artistic intent. Pipeline strategy, multi-year and multi-project workload plans, budget tracking and resource trade-offs between departments, post-production anticipated in the schedule.
Bringing together the right orchestra. Depending on each project's needs, identifying, attracting, meeting and bringing together, with the studios, top-level creative and production profiles: directing, art direction, production managers and other key roles, to carry ambitious international content.
Team support
A happy studio isn't a luxury, it's a production advantage.
Answering “we need to go faster and cheaper” means: understanding each other better, aligning better, deciding better, without getting lost along the way.
Alongside my consulting assignments, I have developed a form of team support that blends into production, with no extra time, from a project's kick-off to its wrap. It is designed for the realities of studios. It is neither a training course nor stand-in management: it is made of building blocks that add to existing good practice and fit naturally into the studio's culture. It is not about telling teams what to do, but about giving them a space to align together, production, tech and art, and to set up collective routines that last.
The goal: clearer, calmer and stronger teams, whose fluidity can be felt all the way through to the delivered result.
